It's a Fiesta!

My family and I have just returned from San Cristobal, Chiapas, Mexico where we celebrated my and Evelyn's 40th Anniversary ministering in southern Mexico.

This is the first time my whole family has traveled with me there. In fact, this was Kari's first trip to Chiapas and Lora's first time to return since she was four. We also took both grandkids, and they were so excited to be able to use their passports for the first time.

La Fe Viviente, the group of churches there in Chiapas, planned the celebration to coincide with their annual pastors' seminar, so we not only were able to celebrate my personal ministry, but to also help build up others' as well. Many dear ministry friends joined us for the week and shared in the morning sessions with the pastors.

The whole convention was wonderful, but when the time came to celebrate, all the people were ready for the Fiesta! They had an amazing program planned out for that Thursday afternoon with music, dancing, singing, a banquet, and more presentations of gifts and expressions of love than we could count.

I thank God for the opportunity I have had to work so closely with these dear people for so many years, and I look forward to the future with gratitude and hope.

My family and I love you all very dearly and pray constantly for your blessing and growth.

Thank you for your prayers and support,

Dale

New Website---Finally!

Well, the new website is almost ready to launch! Praise the Lord! It has been a long, tiring project for someone with no web building experience. But, at least, there is now a light at the end of the tunnel. I will post a link just as soon as we are ready to roll. Thank you all for your patience at the lack of updates on here. I've been so swamped with the website that I haven't written anything else over the last month and a half. That will soon change...I promise!

Tired but hopeful...

A Time to Celebrate

In January, Dale traveled with Dr. Charles Green of Louisiana and Pastor Gary Miracle of Tennessee to Chiapas, Mexico to conduct a leadership seminar for the churches of the La Fe Viviente church network. Over 1500 pastors, leaders, and members from these 200 churches came together for a time of refreshing and rejuvenation. The seminar was hosted by Pastor Saraín and Maranatha Church in the capital city of Tuxtla.

2009 marks the 40th anniversary of Dale and Evelyn's ministry in Chiapas, Mexico. In 1969, with little more than a tent and a guitar, we set off for an region that had heard very little of the gospel. Now, 40 years later, 200 churches are filled each week with thousands of believers.

On July 28-30, La Fe Viviente has planned a great anniversary celebration in the city of San Cristóbal. The Yertons will be the guests of honor for the three-day meeting.

Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support of our ministry!
